Professional Carpet Cleaning Sydney

Hot water extraction, done thoroughly rather than quickly

Cleaner Carpets. Healthier Spaces.

Carpet takes a lot more punishment than most people realise. Dust, fine grit, food, pets, body oils and everyday foot traffic gradually work their way below the visible surface. Regular vacuuming is essential, but over time there is material in the carpet that household equipment simply cannot remove effectively.

We provide professional carpet cleaning across Sydney using hot-water extraction equipment, quality cleaning solutions and a careful process tailored to the carpet and the property. We are fully insured and do not use subcontractors. When you book us, the people you speak to are the people who turn up to clean your carpet.

Hot-water extraction

Our primary cleaning method is hot-water extraction. After the carpet has been inspected and appropriately prepared, a cleaning solution is applied to loosen soil from the carpet fibres. Extraction equipment then rinses the carpet and recovers the suspended soil, cleaning solution and moisture.

This is very different from simply spraying water onto the carpet and sucking it back up. The quality of the result depends on preparation, chemistry, heat, vacuum, extraction and, importantly, the person operating the equipment. That is why we invest in professional systems rather than relying on lightweight domestic or hire machines.

Truck-mounted cleaning where access allows

For properties with suitable access, we use a truck-mounted carpet cleaning system. The equipment remains installed in our purpose-fitted van while long hoses are run to the areas being cleaned.

Our hose reach means truck-mounted cleaning is not limited to ground floors. Multi-storey homes can generally be serviced using the truck mount provided the van can be positioned within practical reach of the property. Depending on the home, hoses can be routed carefully through the property or, where appropriate, through an accessible window to reach upper levels. Truck-mounted equipment gives us excellent professional cleaning capability while keeping much of the machinery outside the home.

Professional portable cleaning for apartments

Sydney has thousands of properties where running hoses from a van simply isn't practical. High-rise apartments, secure underground parking, lift access and large apartment complexes can place the carpet a considerable distance from the street.

That is why we also carry a high-performance professional portable extraction system. The machine can be taken directly into the building and brought to the carpet. This isn't the kind of small carpet cleaner available for hire from a supermarket or hardware store. It is carpet-cleaning equipment specifically chosen so customers in apartments and difficult-access properties can still receive a proper extraction clean.

Different equipment. Same cleaning standard.

Our carpet cleaning process

Inspection

Before cleaning begins, we look at the carpet, fibre, condition, traffic patterns and any stains or problem areas. If there is something particular you are concerned about, tell us. Knowing whether a mark came from coffee, food, a pet accident or another source can help us choose the most appropriate treatment.

Dry soil removal

A surprising amount of what makes carpet dirty is dry material. Dust, grit, sand, pet hair and fine debris gradually settle below the visible surface.

Removing as much of this material as practical before wet cleaning allows the remaining process to work more effectively. This is particularly important in Sydney's coastal suburbs where fine sand can become deeply embedded in carpet.

Pre-treatment

Areas of general soiling and heavy foot traffic may be treated with a professional pre-conditioning solution designed to loosen the material attached to the carpet fibres. High-use areas such as entrances, hallways and the main pathways through living rooms often require more attention than lightly used sections of the room. We clean accordingly.

Specialist stain treatment

Individual stains may require their own treatment. Coffee, food, grease, pet contamination and other spills behave differently and may require different products. We use specialist spotting treatments where appropriate rather than expecting the main carpet cleaning solution to deal with every possible stain.

Agitation where appropriate

Depending on the carpet and level of soiling, pre-treatment may be mechanically or manually worked through the carpet to help loosen embedded soil before extraction. Not every carpet requires exactly the same process. The method is chosen according to what is actually needed.

Hot-water extraction

Extraction equipment rinses the carpet and removes suspended soil, cleaning solution and moisture. Depending on your property, this will be carried out using either our truck-mounted system or our professional portable extraction equipment.

The property determines the equipment. The cleaning standard remains the same.

Additional extraction

We want the carpet clean, not unnecessarily wet. Where appropriate, additional extraction passes are used to recover residual moisture and help promote efficient drying. Actual drying time will always vary according to carpet construction, weather, ventilation and the amount of treatment required.

Final inspection

Before packing up, we inspect the cleaned areas and discuss anything relevant with you. If a mark remains because we believe it is permanent fibre damage, wear, colour loss or another condition that cleaning cannot safely correct, we will explain that rather than pretend otherwise.

We don't believe in miracle promises

Professional carpet cleaning can produce remarkable improvements, but carpet is not indestructible. Some stains permanently alter fibres. Sunlight can fade colour. Bleach and other chemicals can remove colour. Heavy traffic can physically wear carpet. Furniture can crush the pile.

A good carpet cleaner needs to understand the difference between soil that needs removing and damage that cleaning cannot reverse. If we believe something is permanent, we will tell you. We would rather provide realistic advice than promise every carpet will look brand new simply to win the booking.

Care for your home while we work

Getting the carpet clean is only part of doing the job properly. We take care while moving hoses and equipment around your home and pay attention to surrounding surfaces including polished timber flooring, skirting boards, painted walls, door frames, stairs, balustrades and furniture.

A beautiful carpet-cleaning result isn't much comfort if somebody has damaged something else in the process. Attention to detail is part of our cleaning standard.

Cleaning products

We use professional-grade cleaning products from established industry brands. Different carpet fibres and different types of soil require different chemistry, so we carry products and specialist treatments appropriate to a range of cleaning situations.

Our philosophy is not to use the strongest product available. It is to use the right product, in the right way, for the carpet being cleaned.

No subcontractors

We do not use subcontractors. When you book with us, the people you speak to are the people responsible for your job, from the first conversation through to the finished clean.

There is no call centre handing your booking to an unknown subcontractor. That gives us a direct reason to care about every result. Our reputation is attached to every job we do.

  • family homes

Carpet cleaning FAQs

How long will my carpet take to dry?

Drying time depends on the carpet, weather, ventilation, room temperature and how much treatment was required. We avoid unnecessary overwetting and use effective extraction to recover as much moisture as practical.

What carpet cleaning method do you use?

Hot-water extraction, which is what most people mean when they say steam cleaning. It is the method most carpet manufacturers specify, and it cleans by rinsing the fibre and extracting the soil rather than leaving cleaning product behind in the carpet.

Where access allows, we use truck-mounted equipment. Where it does not, in apartments and buildings a van cannot reach, we use professional portable extraction instead.

We do not use dry compound or shampoo methods on domestic carpet. Both can leave residue in the fibre, and residue attracts soil, so carpets cleaned that way often look dirty again sooner.

If your carpet is wool or another material that needs a gentler approach, we adjust the products and the amount of water rather than changing to a method that cleans less thoroughly.

Do I need to vacuum before you arrive?

Regular household vacuuming is always helpful, but preparation forms part of professional carpet cleaning. We can advise you when the job is booked. Removing toys, clothing and small items from the floor before we arrive is particularly useful.

Do you move furniture?

We can discuss furniture when arranging the job. Small and easily moved items are best removed beforehand where possible. Large, heavy or delicate furniture may remain in place and be cleaned around.

Can you remove every stain?

No. Many stains can be removed or substantially improved, but some permanently alter the carpet fibre. We prefer honest expectations to guarantees that cannot responsibly be made.

Can you clean wool carpet?

Yes. Wool requires appropriate cleaning products, moisture control and technique, which is why the carpet is assessed before treatment.

Can you clean high-rise apartments?

Yes. Our professional portable extraction system allows us to clean apartments where running hoses from our truck-mounted equipment is impractical.

Can you clean upstairs using the truck mount?

Yes. Our truck mount has substantial hose reach and can service multi-storey homes where the van can be positioned sufficiently close to the property.

Is professional portable equipment as good as a truck mount?

They are different systems with different strengths. A truck mount is our preferred option where property access makes it practical. Our high-performance portable exists for situations such as high-rise apartments where truck-mounted equipment simply cannot reasonably reach.

It should not be confused with a small domestic or hire carpet cleaner.

Do you clean pet stains and odours?

Yes. Pet contamination sometimes requires additional treatment depending on how deeply it has penetrated the carpet and underlying materials. We can assess the affected areas and explain the appropriate options.

Can I walk on the carpet after cleaning?

Usually, yes, with appropriate care. We will give you drying and aftercare advice before we leave.
