Berowra sits at the northern edge of the Hornsby district, above the Hawkesbury and surrounded on three sides by Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

The housing is freestanding on large bush blocks, often multi-level and stepping down towards the valley, with long driveways and mature gardens.

The long driveways are the thing to plan for. Where the van can be positioned close enough the truck mount is ideal, and where it cannot we bring the portable extraction unit down to the house.

Bushland surrounds means constant leaf litter and grit indoors, and wood fires in winter add a fine soot residue that ordinary vacuuming will not shift.

Berowra sits above the Hawkesbury with the national park on three sides, and the driveways here are long, steep and often the whole problem. Where the van cannot get close enough we bring the portable unit down to the house, and that is a decision made at quoting time, not on the day.
