Carpet Cleaning Balmain

Balmain grew around the harbour, industry and shipbuilding, with Mort's Dock becoming one of the area's defining industrial sites. Today the shipyards have largely given way to waterfront homes, pubs, cafes, apartments and rows of tightly packed terraces, but the old street pattern and character remain.

It is also where the Tigers began, a foundation club of the 1908 competition and 11-time premiers. Since 2000 they have played on as part of the Wests Tigers, who won the premiership in 2005.

Soil arrives here in a way it does not further inland. The peninsula catches wind off the water on three sides, and fine salt-laden grit blows in through doors and windows that stay open for the breeze, settling evenly into pile rather than tracking in at one entrance.

For a carpet cleaner, that can mean everything from a beautifully renovated terrace with a staircase barely wider than the equipment to a modern harbour apartment with secure parking and lift access. We are equipped for both. Our truck mount is available when the van can be positioned conveniently, while our professional portable system can be taken through the property when hoses and vehicle access are impractical.

We also understand that plenty of Balmain homes combine carpet with polished boards, rugs, older skirting and quality furniture. We work around those surfaces carefully and use professional treatments suited to the fibre rather than assuming every carpet can take the same chemistry.
