Carpet Cleaning Gladesville
When the current Gladesville Bridge opened in 1964 its concrete arch was the longest span of its type anywhere in the world, and the suburb still arranges itself around the approach, with the Victoria Road strip along the ridge and the streets falling away either side.
The housing splits between established family homes on the ridge and a substantial body of red brick walk-up flats from the sixties and seventies, with newer apartments filling in near the shops.
Carpet in those older walk-ups is almost always laid on a concrete slab with thin underlay beneath it. That makes it feel harder underfoot, it shows a traffic lane sooner than the same carpet would in a house, and it holds moisture longer after a clean, so we put less water in and allow more time for it to dry.
Houses with a driveway take the truck mount without difficulty. Upper floor flats and buildings with awkward parking get our professional portable extraction carried up instead, and the standard of the clean does not change.
Gladesville questions
Do you clean apartments?
Yes. Gladesville has apartment blocks, older houses and harbour-side homes, and we are set up for all of them. Apartments are cleaned with our portable extraction system where running hoses from the street is impractical.
Can you tackle family homes with pets and children?
Yes, and pet homes are a large part of our Gladesville work. Pet stains and odour need treatment aimed at the contamination itself rather than a perfume over the top of it.
Are your cleaning products professional-grade?
Yes. We use products intended for professional carpet and upholstery cleaning and select treatments according to the job.
