Carpet Cleaning Kurraba Point

Kurraba Point occupies the peninsula running south from Neutral Bay, a small pocket of harbour frontage with water on three sides and a single road in along Kurraba Road.

The housing is a mix of substantial older houses and prestige apartment buildings, many of them from the interwar and mid-century decades, positioned to take the view back towards the harbour.

Homes like these often hold good quality wool carpet and better rugs, sometimes older pieces that have been in the family for years. Those are worth identifying before anything is applied, because the treatment for a hand-knotted rug is not the treatment for broadloom.

Streets here are narrow with very little parking and most buildings have no loading area at all. We work off the closest practical spot and bring the portable extraction unit in where a hose run from the van is not sensible.

Kurraba Point questions

There is nowhere to park a van on our street. How do you manage?

We work off the nearest practical spot and carry the portable unit in. It is designed for exactly this, and narrow harbour streets are routine for us.

We have an old rug we are nervous about. Will you clean it?

We will look at it first and tell you honestly. Some older or hand-made rugs are better done off site by a rug specialist, and we would rather say so than have a go and regret it.

Does the building need to approve the work?

Some of the older strata buildings here do want notice. Pass on whatever your building requires when you book and we will work within it.
