St George
Carpet Cleaning Carlton
Carlton sits between Kogarah and Allawah on the Illawarra line, a compact residential suburb of older homes and flats with its own small station and shops.
The stock is mostly interwar and post-war, with freestanding homes on the quieter streets and a run of red brick walk-up blocks closer to the line.
Smaller suburbs like this tend to have long-term residents in the houses and higher turnover in the flats, so the two halves of our work here look quite different.
The houses generally allow truck mount access. For the walk-ups we carry the portable up with us.
Carlton questions
Do you clean older units?
Yes, and a good share of our work here is exactly that. Access is never a problem because the portable comes to us, not the other way around.
Can you clean carpet laid over floorboards?
Yes. It changes how much moisture we are prepared to put in, since there is no slab underneath, and we adjust the pass accordingly.
Do you quote before starting?
Yes, always, and we do not change it on the day without talking to you first.
