Carpet Cleaning Eastgardens

Eastgardens is built around the shopping centre and the golf links, a compact suburb wedged between Pagewood, Hillsdale and the eastern edge of Botany.

The housing splits two ways. Behind the centre are post-war brick homes on flat blocks, many held by the same families for decades, and along the Bunnerong Road side a run of apartment towers has gone up over the past ten years.

The sand is the thing here. This is old dune country and fine grit finds its way inside on shoes no matter how careful the household is, working down into the base of the pile where a vacuum will not reach it. Hot-water extraction is what actually lifts it.

Driveway access in the older streets suits the truck mount. The towers are a portable job, through the basement and up in the lift.

Eastgardens questions

My carpet never looks clean even though I vacuum constantly. Why?

Most likely fine sand sitting below the surface of the pile. A vacuum takes the top layer, but grit that has worked down to the backing needs water and suction to shift, which is what an extraction clean does.

Do you clean the apartments on Bunnerong Road?

Yes. We bring the portable extraction unit up through the building, so there are no hoses running through the lobby and no van blocking the driveway.

How long before we can walk on it?

A few hours for light foot traffic and closer to a day before you put heavy furniture back. Opening the windows and running a fan makes a real difference.
