Carpet Cleaning Charing Cross
Charing Cross is the village at the top of Bronte Road where Waverley, Bronte and Queens Park meet, built around the shops, the pub and the old post office rather than around a train line.
Housing here is mostly semis, freestanding homes and converted terraces on streets that fall away towards Bronte. Rooms are often carpeted upstairs with hard floors below, so a job can mean bedrooms, stairs and a landing rather than a large open living area.
When the bedrooms are upstairs and the living is below, the stairs do all the work. Every trip through the house uses the same dozen treads, so they soil several times faster than the rooms at either end, and the nosing of each step takes the worst of it. Stairs are worked individually for that reason and they take real time.
Where we can park close to the property, our truck-mounted system does the work. On the narrower streets and steeper blocks, our professional portable extraction comes into the house instead, which keeps the standard of the clean the same either way.

Charing Cross questions
Do you clean stairs and landings separately?
Yes. Stairs collect more traffic than almost anything else in a house, and we clean them as part of the job rather than as an afterthought.
Can you work around street parking near the shops?
Usually. Tell us the address when you book and we will sort out access beforehand, including bringing the portable system in if the van cannot sit close.
Will sun-faded carpet come back to its original colour?
No. We can remove soil and lift the pile considerably, but fading from sunlight is a change to the fibre itself and cleaning will not reverse it.
