Rodd Point is a small peninsula suburb on Iron Cove, with Timbrell Park and the Bay Run wrapped around its edges and mostly freestanding homes on quiet streets behind them.

Almost all of it is freestanding houses on a handful of quiet streets, a mix of interwar and later brick homes, with the park and the water forming the boundary on three sides.

Homes close to the water pick up their own kind of soil. Sand and grass come in from the park, salt air sits in the fibres, and family traffic through hallways and living rooms does the rest over a few years.

Access is usually straightforward here, which suits our truck-mounted system well. For upstairs rooms or anywhere the van cannot sit close by, our professional portable gives us a second full option without dropping the standard.
