Carpet Cleaning Ingleside

Ingleside sits up on the plateau behind Mona Vale and Elanora Heights, a rural pocket of acreage, nurseries and horse properties with bushland on most sides.

The houses are substantial and set well back, many on properties large enough to run stock, with sheds, stables and paddocks between the road and the front door.

The soil up here is heavy and red, and it behaves differently from the sandy grit that comes into a beachside house. It carries colour, so it marks light carpet more readily and it needs proper extraction rather than surface agitation to lift it out of the pile.

Blocks are large with plenty of room for the van, which suits the truck-mounted system throughout the suburb.

Ingleside questions

The soil here stains the carpet at the back door. Can that be reversed?

Usually a good way, particularly if it has not been walked in for years. Coloured soil binds to fibre more stubbornly than sand does, so the sooner it is treated the better the result.

We have horses and the boots never really come clean. Any advice?

A hard mat and a boot rack outside the laundry door does more than anything else. Beyond that, a shorter interval between cleans is the realistic answer rather than trying to keep it all out.

Are you actually out this far?

Yes, Ingleside is part of our service area. Because it is a fair way up, we try to book the acreage jobs near each other, so give us a bit of warning where you can.
