Carpet Cleaning Curl Curl

Curl Curl runs back from its beach and lagoon towards Harbord Road, a compact beachside suburb of narrow streets and steadily changing housing.

Original fibro and brick cottages sit alongside a great many rebuilt and heavily extended homes, and there is nearly always work going on somewhere in the street.

Renovation is what marks the carpet here. Fine building dust travels much further through a house than people expect and settles into new pile within weeks of the trades leaving, which is why a clean after the work is finished is worth more than one before it.

Streets are tight but most blocks have a driveway. Where the van cannot sit close enough we bring the portable in.

Curl Curl questions

We have just finished a renovation. When should we clean the carpet?

After the last of the trades have gone, not between stages. Building dust keeps moving through a house for weeks, so cleaning early usually means doing it twice.

Is new carpet worth cleaning at all?

Once it has taken on fit-out dust, yes. Getting that out before it compacts is what keeps new carpet looking new for longer.

Parking on our street is very tight. Is that an issue?

Rarely. We work off the nearest practical spot and run hose in, or switch to the portable unit. Narrow beachside streets are routine for us.
