Carpet Cleaning Monterey

Monterey sits between Brighton-Le-Sands and Ramsgate on the Botany Bay foreshore, quieter than its neighbour and with a much higher proportion of older residents who have been here for decades.

The housing reflects that. Red brick flats from the sixties and seventies line the streets near the water, many of them owner-occupied by people who bought them new, alongside freestanding homes on the streets behind.

Carpet in a flat like that is often twenty or thirty years old and has been carefully looked after, which is a different job to a rental turnover. The realistic goal is to get every bit of soil out of something that will not be replaced.

Most of those blocks are two or three storeys with no lift, so the portable comes up the stairs with us.

Monterey questions

Is it worth cleaning carpet this old?

Often very much so. If it has been maintained, the difference can be striking, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a replacement you do not need.

Can you work around limited mobility?

Yes. Tell us when you book and we will plan the order of rooms so you are never cut off from where you need to be.

Do you move furniture for us?

We move what two people can shift safely. Anything heavy or fragile we work around rather than risk it.
